We’re excited to be launching a new meal delivery scheme alongside Age UK County Durham. We’ll be delivering hot meals to those most in need in Sacriston and the surrounding villages over the winter months. They are for people aged 50+ who can’t get to our Lunch Club for transport or mobility reasons. We’re looking for volunteers to help deliver the meals.
When: 1pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Role: Driving hot meals to roughly 3 to 5 local people in the community
Requirements: You’ll need your own car & the ability to find unfamiliar addresses on your own.
